To Jake P. the guy, Lord Carnarvon, who was the last individual to live here, died about 90 years ago. Some Brits--who love legends it seems-- say he died because he unearthed King Tut! He has a website too. Goggle: lord carnarvon and you can see the last resident of this manor. Mrs. H
